I am currently doing an MEd and am 39 years old. I want to do a PHd and have some savings but would like to get some kind of scholarship-I know everyone does but it need not be a full one and I may be able to work part time.
The problem is as I understand it you need to apply by Jan to get funding etc. but I do not even know what my dissertation will be as I only started the MEd in September.
When is too late too late for applying for a PHD?
Hi Toasty, I have to admit I don't know about scholarships from funding bodies etc, but not all scholarships have deadlines for application by January. Mine is a university scholarship which I applied for in June (I think?). It's worth having a look around what is available.
Good luck!
40 is an excellent age to start a PhD, btw. ;-)
