Hi, after reading the last topic about 2ii + MSc, it make me wonder...
I heard from people that if you have 2ii, with an MSc, it will make you 2i:
BSc 2ii + MSc = BSc 2i
I wonder how many people in here agree with this?
What about BSc2ii + MSc + MSc = ?
could anyone make some comment on that?
An alternative qualification or combination of qualifications and experience which clearly demonstrate equivalent knowledge and ability may exceptionally be accepted at NERC's discretion. For a candidate that does not hold a first or upper second class degree in an appropriate subject, possession of an MSc degree will not automatically be accepted as an adequate qualification for a research studentship, and strong and specific reasons will still be needed for an exception to be made.
what a calculation? well i think that calculation needs strong verification! as you've been advised(NERC), your case is an exceptional case, try to talk with some people in the research area of interest in any institution you might be willing to attend before making the application. i know that will help.
i wish you the best.
