I'd like to know if someone can answer me about this matter.
I'm a biologist with a 1st class degree and a Master in "Integrated Environmental Management" but haven't been undertaking a career as biologist 'cause in Italy it's really difficult to work in the field of ecology/conservation biology, just fewer opportunities than in other countries.
I have no scientific articles, but good kwoledges, manuality and attitude to work in these areas.
I'd like to apply for a MRes 'cause it lasts just a year with little class topics, with works for 2semesters in lab and field and try to apply 4 an agency about ecology afterwards.
The other idea is to try to apply for a MPhil/PhD BUT it means other 3years of studies with the result that it's not MATHEMATICALLY sure to find a job at the end of this challenge! Could a MRes be the right choice?
Next week I'll move to Scotland to get IELTS and to find some voluntary works in ecology as well as to work in any field to keep me there!
I'd really appreciate if someone can help me to advise to train to another(but "practical" and better)Master or(directly)to a MPhil.
