I've just bought a pure maths text book on EBay. I'm going slightly mad!

could you prove calculus for me, here, now, on this forum?

It used to be a question on the maths A level exam but not any more.

you know, how you get to dy/dx etc.

Pure maths with a large stick, not far removed from my old maths teacher in fact!

I used to be able to do that.

Happily I have forgotten :)

I never proved it. We were the first year that didn't ha\ve to do it on the exam.

that's shame, I tripped over my shoelace this morning and want to sue the shoe shop who sold me them.

Trouble was, I banged my head and now all I can think about is pure maths and old skool dance records from 1991.
