Does anyone know where I can find PhD opportunities in the US and/or Canada? E.g. website as findaphd.com but for the US and/or Canada :-)

I don't know if there is an equivalent to www.findaphd.com in the US. What field are you in? It may be best looking at the advert pages of key periodicals e.g. if you're a scientist then Nature Jobs and Science have a lot of PhD programmes advertised.

Try the Chronicle of Higher Education for the US.

I'm not sure about Canada...but would be interested to know my where Canadian academic opportunities are normally advertised.
