Hi,

I used a qualitative questionnaire as a method (questionnaire but open questions) and don't know how to best input the responses (they were completed by hand). Ill need to search by age and a couple of other tick box criteria, but also code the responses. I have about 100 completed, each with 12 questions. Some responses are 1 or two words, other are 3/4 sentences. Any suggestions?

Thought about excel then input into nvivo, anyone had any experience with this?

I think you need to do some reading. There is no such thing as a qualitative questionnaire. What I would do is sort responses into categories and input the data that way, using something like SPSS
