Hello, I am from Pakistan and I wish to apply for fully funded phd programs in english literature field, but the thing is a lot of universities ask for second language and I haven't learned any except perhaps urdu itself, but again its not great I stopped studying it after school... So I was wondering is there any way around it, and also if any of you can recommend me a university where my chances are greater admission wise because I don't exactly have an outstanding CV or performance academically... My BS hons gpa was 3.21 and my Mphil. Gpa was 3.56...
Another thing I am writing my PhD proposal and I was wondering whether it needs to encompass all the novels of a certain field, or only some of the novels like 10 or so are enough?
