My RA job has taken me away from my studies. Its time to fight back!
I'm now working 5-9 on my PhD!
And I'll report back here about what I've managed to achieve.
I should be on my last few months now, so may use this instead of my goal thread. Anyone is welcome to join me in my little 5-9 club :-)
I'm frequently an evening worker so I'll join you! It must be irritating for you to have your RA job taking over though, especially at the end. Do you do it Monday-Friday?
Also I bought one of those Lumie clocks a few weeks ago - love it! Are you still using yours?
Hi Sneaks and Natassia, I also work evenings as I have little bambinos to look after during the day! Tonight, I am hoping to finish addressing sup1 comments on my final draft thesis and work through some minor revisions that I have noted. Meanwhile hubby is sorting out the printed final draft for me to proof-read. (still awaiting final comments from two other sups though).
I managed to do about 200 words, but it involved a lot of thinking abotu what I was going to say, so tonight should be easier to get more done (up)
My RA work is supposedly 20 hours per week, but it takes over
I'm late I'm late! its 5.04!
Ok, so my main task tonight is to submit one of my chapters as a publication to a journal. I have a few changes to make and I have to run some stats on it boooooo because I might have mucked them up :-(
Had a nightmarish day today. My internet has been down = no dropbox = no access to my work :-(
So I have to now try and make up for today this evening. I'm hoping the internet will stay connected - its a problem with my computer it seems, or maybe the router is rubbish with windows 7. Who knows.
