Worried

G

I've got an interview tomorrow for a PhD I really want. I've been ill the last week and a half and haven't been able to do any reading. Now that I am, I realise how unprepared I am. What do I do?

G

Don't panic. In the interview that i've had they seemed to care about the work/project that i'm currently doing, and my motivation for doing a PhD. They expected a little thought about the direction of the project, but this shouldn't take too long to research. They don't expect you to know everything - there's little point in doing the PhD if you did! Good luck!

G

Read up on a few notes - not too much because they won't go into too much detail. Just make sure you remember what you've been doing in your Honours project and have some good reasons ready for why PhD study is for you and what attracted you to the project.
