Hi All,
I was recently admitted to a Research Master Degree in a Spanish University with my 3-year French Bachelor Degree (180 ECTS). In Spain as long as your bachelor degree grant access to a Master degree in the Bachelor origin country, they will accept it for admission even though it's a 3-year long program where in Spain it's 4-year long (240 ECTS). So basically a Bachelor + Master in Spain is usually an equivalent of 300 ECTS.
Now I'm planning to continue for a PhD in Spain or a European university and I was wondering if I would be eligible for admission even though my bachelor and my master degree would totalize 240 ECTS? Will I have to do a second 60 ECTS master degree? Or maybe do the PhD in 4 years instead of 3 with a bridging year?
Can anyone enlighten me regarding this issue...
