I asked a professor to write a recommendation letter for my PhD application. But she asked me to draft it myself and then send it to her to sign it.

I have no idea what to include in the letter. What should I write in the letter? What is the structure of this letter? Do you have any sample letter to share with me? Thanks in advance for your help.

You should comment on knowledge of your research area, technical ability, soft skills, work ethic etc.

I think it should be at least 1 page, probably 2.
