Actually, I've started hunting for the right PhD program for me. Currently, I'm doing my Master in mechanical engineering and I'm planning to finish by the next May 2015, 'At if Allah wills'. So I started thinking of my next plan after completing the M.Sc.
I'm interested to work in the area of Robotics, dynamics and control as I'm doing my M.Sc. So I started wondering, is the right approach do my PhD in the area as my M.Sc?, also I've some intent to work in the area of Solid Mechanics. So I need some suggestions to figure out this, and I'm also wondering is that suitable for me, is this the right time to think for these things and stuff.
Thanks.
Your advise is highly regarded.
hi! welcome to the Forum
yes, if Allah wills it, you will find the right PHD!
I think you maybe need some time to make a decision, sorry I can't make helpful suggestions as mechanical engineering is not my area.
One thing I can share with you is -- to ask yourself what makes you tick???
What makes you feel most inspired and happy to work on?
If it is robotics, then go for it.
Don't think about money and jobs.
Look in your heart. Allah is all Merciful and Compassionate, Allah loves EVERYBODY
you will find the answer soon
