Hey all,

Iam looking for advice. About 3 years ago I had to leave my PhD studies after some sever bullying (which i am in councilling for now thank god). Since then I have been in a desk job as I couldnt face returning to science as even now recalling the details brings me to tears. Now I am on the mend and want to apply for PhD positions but I have no references as and no ties to that hideous place. I was wondering how hard it would be to get back into science? has anyone else been through this?

I know there are other people on here who have left a PhD and started new PhD position later, so hopefully somwonw can offer some advice.
