I want to be a scientist and lecturer at the University.
In Russia this is not possible, as the scholarship of about $ 40 per month and there is no work
Now i am looking for Phd in Computer Science in USA, I am interested in algorithms on strings and texts (processing of textual information). I can not find some informations about it. Does anybody can help me?
Are there any age restrictions on the PhD program in the United States?

I am not familiar with your programme, but I think you should start with it as soon as possible, for the requirements and other information needed for making an application in the coming fall season. As for the age, i guess there is not. Does anyone know about age limit for making a phd application to the USA? For myself, I applied when I was 30

I don't think there's an age limit for applications, but I have a feeling there may be age limits for types of scholarships. I'm not sure how likely it is that a non-US citizen would get US funding.
