Hi all, I am new to the site but have been reading a lot of posts on here.

I am starting a PhD in October. The problem is that in order to be fully registered on the PhD, I need both the Masters transcript and degree certificate. I have just been told these may not be available until December. If I am only 'provisionally registered' whilst awaiting these, will this affect my (Research council) stipend coming through? I have exhausted my current savings and would struggle to survive until December without borrowing lots of money.

Does anyone else have a similar experience, and any solution to this problem?

I would appreciate your advice.

Is your masters from the same university that you are doing the PhD at?

I think you will be fine, just ask the admin team and show them this info.
