I've been offered a Dphil at Oxford to start October, I've also won a Prize for £3,000. However due to the supervisor coming on board late and other issues outside my control I have missed this year all the funding deadlines. I desperately need to find funding just for the first year and very urgently. I have worked through and paid for my own access, undergraduate and Masters in the East of England but as I must move to Oxford I need to have enough to pay fees, accommodation and show maintenance funds. I am a Peruvian national, resident in UK for 10 years with permanent residency. I fit no funding categories and there is nothing for South Americans let alone Peruvians. Would anyone know of any financial help for someone like me? I have contacted numerous organisations with nothing successful and Oxford are not helping me. I seem to be getting passed from pilar to post and desperately need to attend after so many years working towards this.
For anyone who can help give me advice I would be very, very grateful.
