Hi all
I finally received the conferment letter of my phd award. However, the title of my thesis is wrong. I am getting really paranoiac and I would really like to find out what has happened. I had minor corrections to do in my thesis but as the external was one of the biggest names in the area, I was very worried that I might have failed. Finally, I received an email from the research office saying my corrections were approved. Now the conferment letter has the wrong title but with all of my details correct (name/surname, etc). Do you know any other similar cases and how they were resolved? Could it be that another poor guy received a letter saying he failed the corrections (and hence the PhD?). If that is the case, can I go legally against the University? I am really sorry if I am getting crazy, but I really had enough with this PhD
Many thanks
