Hi,
I would like to test if different characteristics of a person have an impact on the attitude towards this person of the participants. For the characteristics I will use different items (already existing scales) to measure them (factor analysis). Now my question is: how do I measure the attitude towards that person in the questionnaire. After people rate the person based on the characteristics (e.g. attractiveness measured with 5 items), do I just ask: What is your attitude towards that person (positive, neutral, negative)? Or is there a better way to do it.
For example:
Item1 --->
Item2 ---> Characteristic1 ------>
Item3 --->
Attitude towards that person
Item1--->
Item2---> Characteristic2 ------->
Item3--->
