To give you some background information of the project I am going to do..
A company that offers consultant in form of systems and other IT matters, wants me to make a web application to handle customers business matters they want help with. The company uses a medium-sized business tool called "Pyramid", which does not have any APIs towards the web.
The reason they want help with it is to:
1. Reduce incoming support calls that concerns matters at the company, to instead make them fill a form on a website.
2. Gather all tasks that has to be done at one place, since every employee currently handles their own matters that has to be done at companies, which means that there is no way for either the company or customer to check if the task has been complete or is worked with.
What I currently know is that the web application is going to be written with ASP.net / C#, sending data using SOAP and will be read on the web app as XML.
MY PROBLEM IS:
I have a hard time figuring out what my write-up should be focused at. Since I have to do some form of research job and come up with something "new", it's hard to come up with something alone, since all areas regarding web is covered in older studies. I just want to colaborate with someone to maybe figure out a path to go with my PhD.
Thanks
