Hi there,
I was an international student enrolled in the MSE program of the Department of Electrical Engineering at Arizona State University 6-8 years ago majoring in Signal Processing and Communication.
The two requirements for completing the program and the awarding of the diploma were:
1. Clearing a comprehensive exam.
2. Maintaining a minimum CGPA of 3.00
Having met the first requirement, I fell short of the second by a mere 0.05 points.
Nevertheless, 2.95 is not 3.00 and I was not awarded the diploma.
I returned to my native country soon after and did not pursue completion of the diploma until now. Unfortunately the MSE program at ASU is to be completed within 6 years. Therefore I'm looking to transfer my credits to another university and take up the necessary coursework online.
However, I'm not exactly sure what the best approach would be.
My priority is the diploma and the choice of the university.
The line of work I'm involved in is image processing and machine learning, so I'd like to focus on those areas.
I'm looking for suggestions and advice as to how best to go about this in terms zeroing in on my options since there are so many universities out there that its a bit daunting to be honest.
Thanks for your time and looking forward to your inputs.
Cheers!
