listen i have spent 2 days trying to understand this and have asked 4 friends doing PhD's at Manchester to no avail. i am not simply being lazy when i asked this question on the forum!
also any sensible ppl why know what a conceptual frameowrk is please let me know!

yes, if you are graduating then you should get graduate terms for 3 years....well i do at natwest. you can always change banks to get a graduate account, you don't have to stay with the bank you have your student account with.
i have been on student trems for 10 years :)....well planned!

could i have some comments on my chances with the open competition.
2.1. business & human resource management
merit in MSc. human resource management & industrial relations
currently doing postgraduate diplom but want to exit at cerificate level in social research & statistics.
graduate member of chartered institute of personnel and development.
i am considering giving some research assistance to a prof in the research group (very related to my area)
oh yeah and 6 years of reatil management work experience
any comments please :)
