I need to come up with a conceptual framework for my Masters Thesis. My thesis is around how well offshore development companies overcome certain problems in their day to day work. In order to do this I need a conceptual framework around which I can base my thesis on. Is there some framework out there which I can use?

This is my first post to this forum so please excuse me for ay silly mistakes.

My supervisor asked me to come up with a conceptual model for my thesis. What I dont understand is
1. What exactly is a conceptual model.
2. How does the conceptual model play out in the overall thesis.
3. Some samples will be very helpful.
