Thank you for the encouragement, Lara! I think you're right, life is not all straight lines... I'm glad I've got a bit more organised now.
Also I start a new part time job tomorrow so I need to be organised for that!
Haha...! I like this egg-timer idea a lot. I will do my 15 mins tonight and report back. Best of luck to everyone else and well done for making it through "Another Day"
I think you guys are doing a PhD whereas I'm doing a Masters... the difference here is that I only have 4 months to get my thesis done and dusted.
I felt vaguely guilty therefore for having done nothing on it at all today, just de-cluttered my life and sorted out my financial situation.
Ah, well. Maybe this evening...
Hi all!
I'd like to join the general encouragement and ass-kicking
I'm doing the dissertation on an MSc Information and Library Management.
I've got all kinds of rough drafts but just have to get on with the actual reasearch project and do the analysis and write up - all by November 28th!
I intend to join your 15mins per day group tomorrow morning. I read Bolker, of course... I will post my to-do list tomorrow, right after I sort out my financial issues
...I'm doing one, nearly finished (just got to do my dissertation research) and wondering about jobs.
Anyone have creative ideas about using this Masters? My work experience is in the Government and Pharmaceutical library/information services sectors, and my undergrad is in Physics with German... so I'm a very eclectic, science/humanities generalist!!!
