My university is very supportive: I have received help from the disability service and transcription service. It is my PhD supervisor who wanted this letter otherwise I couldn't do data collection for my PhD

I was told to supply a letter disclaiming the need for disability support otherwise I wouldn't be able to carry out data collection. Is this normal practice?

Thank you Tudor and Tenzin. I've calmed down after the initial shock and tried looking at the comments objectively. In most cases, the remarks are deserved! School girl errors which I could kick myself for. I've stopped looking to see if supermarkets are hiring as I'm very passionate about my research topic. Today is a new day!

I have just received very blunt negative feedback on my 1st draft of ethical approval submission from my supervisor. I am extremely worried that this indicates my inability and incompetency to complete a PhD.

Hi could you tell me please if you received a full stipend for the masters part of your Studentship? The reason I ask is that I've just received a monthly payment schedule which only pays me half of the award! Is this because it's masters and not phd element? Also can I ask what has put you off the PhD?
