Hi, I am a first year grad student. I have been offered an scholarship for PhD and therefore I did not take any master course. Yet, 9 months since then, I have been doing nothing as my project main hypothesis is still not set up due to some issues with collaborators. Currently I can only clear my grad modules and learn some simple technique. I wish to plan something to do for practice, but it seems to be so impractical. Another important thing is that I have switched field to something I am not familiar with, and this makes me feel so confused and lost confidence at all, unlike those days in university. Is that normal to every student or its just that I am just not suitable to further my studies? So lost in this new environment...
