I am yet to think it through fully but I have got it down to Latin American development with North American/European relations in mind. I know York is good for this but I'm not keen on moving away from the south as my girlfriend is located here. I also heard Sussex was good for IR. What about LSE? They also deal with development studies.
I have a politics related MA and am looking for a politics related PhD. I don't expect to find one here but I was looking for advice.
1. Do you know any Institutions that are recomended for politics or IR in the South of England (inc London)?
2. What is the average amount of work one must do per week if taking a part time PhD? (i.e do you think I could fund a PhD and stay alive with a basic job?
3. Any imaginative suggestions for funding methods?
Please help, thanks.
