that is an amazing amount of money for a Ph.D - local Ph.D students at my uni get a fee scholarship, and many also get a stipend to live on.
Why go overseas to get your ph.d if you don't get a scholarship. I don't imagine it will make that much difference on your resume.

It sounds as though you already have a fair idea what to do - I have written two chapters (drafts) plus a scrappy intro - and now my sup watns to see an "outline" of my following chapters - he just wants a page on each chapter, maybe a para or two and some info in point form - what they will cover, methods, how they link etc...

Hi I'm new year - I am currently in my second year of my Ph.D and I am writing up as I go.
I have completed coursework/dissertation Masters (with 26000 words for the dissertation) and got a mark of 80% for both elements.
My main concern with my Ph.D is that I worry that it won't pass if it's not written at 100% level. I think my best writing is around 80%, and won't be good enough to pass my Ph.D...
