dear i think the results at masters level does matter but a strong and good research proposal is solid base for a sure admission in Phd. Well the marks at masters level will affect the studentship competition wherein the marks has lot of weightage. Yes another thing is a good reference from a professor also plays an importatn role. cheers good luck

please i want some help and advice. I have confirmed offers of PhD admission from two 2 uk universities in business studies but the main problem is funding. I want to start my studies in sept 2010. Though i am exploring opportunities but still there is no hope. I have subscribed to many funding websites and is constantly watching them but no hope. seems endless struggle is my fate. :-(
