I completed my PhD in Criminal Justice from Michigan State University in 2012. I have been working in my home country Pakistan ever since. I am an Assistant Professor is Sociology at a university in Pakistan. I am interested in getting a Post Doc in Community Development. I am currently doing a funded project in Community Development in Pakistan. I have the option of converting this project into my postdoc research but I am open to apply for any post doc position in the field of Community Development. I have absolutely no idea how to go about searching for opportunities for postdoc in my field. I would appreciate some advice on how to start my search for the right postdoc program.
I am in my mid 40s. From what I have been reading, usually candidates of 40 years or more age are considered too old for postdoc. Considering my age, is postdoc a viable option for me? Thank you.
