Hi!
I have kind of a dilemma.
I have a BA in French Literature at a French university and an MA in Comparative Literature at UCL.
I am now applying to some universities in the States (NYU, Columbia, Cornell and Brown).
I am French and I wonder if my chances to be accepted to these universities are higher if I apply to the French PhD or the Comparative Literature PhD (my thesis could fit in both these fields of research).
Is being French a strong advantage to be accepted to a French PhD, or is it irrelevant? Which PhD do you think is best for me to choose?
