Hi guys - I used to post here about 6 or 7 years ago when I started my PhD but I've forgotten my username so I've re-registered! I finally - after two pregnancies and a few bouts of ill health - submitted my PhD in March and I had my viva on the 2nd of August which I passed with minor amendments. I am still coming back down to earth having convinced myself I was doomed to failure. I was told in the viva that I had to make four substantive changes (adding in a few sentences and paragraphs in a few chapters) and correct a few typos. However it is now nearly two weeks since the viva and I haven't had my list of amendments from the examiners. Does anyone know if this is common practice? I'm itching to get the amendments made and the two little letters before my name, but I'm beginning to wonder if it might be months before they get round to sending out the paperwork. I'd be grateful to hear anyone's experiences! Thanks :)
