I guess I tend to favor working in a bank more than work in an accounting firm.

For the bank industry, I plan to work in the financial service sector or the treasury/financial reports sector. I have the most interests in these two sectors.

I am only apply for masters now as a back-up plan incase the market worsen next year. I will also apply to universities in HK will applications doesn't start till january-feb.

I guess I planned to do JD Law because it is a 2 year programme(allow me to avoid the recession) and it provide me with more career options(But im afraid my skills will become too diversify, accounting, finance, and law).

Msc Management really that bad for me? Because I believe it be at least 5-6years before I will be able to get a MBA degree, so during this time, I might get competitive advantage from the masters degree when job hunting and for promotion.

No ones got any suggestions or want to make a comment?? (Im urgent!, please)

I have a upper second class honours degree in Accounting and Finance at the University of Essex.

I am planning to study masters if I were not able to land a job next year because of the current job market(HONG KONG).

I was wondering what kind of masters degrees will give the most added value to my future career and job finding.

Some Masters I could apply and considering are:
Msc Accounting
Msc Finance
Msc Economics(few options due to my lack of substantial econ background)
Msc Management(will be uselss if I study MBA later?)
JD Law(2 years programme which is equivalent to a masters in law)

Please can someone give me some suggestions to which kind of masters degree I should go for which will be the most beneficial to me if I am planning to work in the financial sector(accounting/banks)?
