I have a MSc in computer engineering and 3 years experience in the industry as a software engineer in R&D.
I am 27.
I am now considering to apply for a research assistant position.
Let's assume I work for 1 to 3 years as a research assistant and then I cannot stay in the academics for the lack of a PhD (or any other reason).
My question is, would I be able to join the industry again? How do companies react to a candidate with 3 years working experience in the industry + the last 1 to 3 years experience as a research assistant and 30 years old?
Did anyone have a similar experience?
Thanks!
