Hi,
I have spent the past two days hunting funding opportunities and have not yet had any luck. I'm a second year PhD student at UCL and have been offered the chance to run one of my studies at Yale Child Study Centre next summer... great!... except, I need to find some money to fund the trip (3-4 months in duration). Does anyone out there have any ideas?
I initally approached the Leverhulme Trust, but they won't fund trips to the U.S. I've tried UCL Grad School, British Fed of Women Grads, British Council, Royal Society, Wellcome Trust, International Federation of University Women, Lipman-Miliband Trust, FFWG & Wingate Scholarship.... in all cases I've either missed the deadline or am not eligable.
About ready to tear my hair out!! Anyone had any experience of gaining funding for short periods of study aborad?
Thanks guys :)
