yes you're right, 20 but soon to be 21. I just thought that there would be quite a lot of mature students doing post graduate courses? but yes, you've got a point.Just don't want to spend my time all year in a library with no friends!!
Hi, I have another question (hopefully my last one, I promise). I am a young student but decided to stay at home whilst staying my degree but plan to move out to a different city during ls my postgraduate study. Obviously, I won't know the city, so will probably stay in halls in order to make friends and familiarise myself with the area. I am slightly concerned that there won't be many people my age to socialise with and that they will be younger (e.g doing undergraduate study). Has anybody had a similar experience? Does it matter? Do the universities attempt at putting postgraduate students together in halls? Thanks in advance!
Thanks!! you've put my mind at rest...well, for a while at least
Hi, I am currently about to start my third year of study of law at Derby University and really, really want to study a masters to do with European law in London. Typically, I have been receiving fairly good grades in my modules, more often than not getting 2.1 grades. However, although my GCSE grades are very good, I slacked off during my A levels and due to this, they are rather poor.(Hence why I have not gone to as desirable university as I wanted). I would really, really like to got to Brunel or Queen Mary's but am unsure of how the entry requirements actually operate. Brunel states that candidates must have at least second class and queen mary's asks for at least 2.1. I am planning on applying early, using my predicted grades and previous marks. Will bad A level grades still prejudice me from bettering myself and trying to go to a good institution or will they consider my actual university grades as well as my GCSE grades? What is the competition for Masters like as well?
Any advice will be much appreciated!! If anyone can help, thank you in advance.
