Weird question - Touch up on Graduation photos?!
R

I have quite bad skin and when I had the option of having my graduation photo 'touched up' I decided I would like one photo where I have normal looking skin.

I think it was Success photography who provided the photography at my graduation. I was really impressed with the results, It's not obvious it has been altered at all (other than my skin looking better).
I didn't go for the teeth brightening, so I don't know how this would turn out.

Travelling alone
R

Over the last couple of years I have done a few trips by myself. I was really worried about doing these at first, but I just had to get out there and do it and realise it was not as scary as I thought.
I did find staying in hostels rather than hotels was helpful. I found that from here I could meet other people who were travelling alone and often find people who wanted to see the same things, so we would go together. Many hostels now also offer the option of having a private on suite room, so you don't have to share a room with lots of bunk beds in it!
I have found that there are a lot of advantages to travelling alone, you don't have to worry about what other people would like to do, and so spend time doing and seeing what you would like to.

god parenting: gift(s)?
R

I opened a bank account and put a small amount of money in it for my Goddaughter that she cannot access until she is 18. I'm not very good at choosing useful presents and figured this way I can add to it over the years for birthdays and Christmas. Hopefully when she is 18 it will be useful for education/travelling. I also got my nephew some premium bonds for his christening. :-)

Where to go?

Hi

I've just completed my undergrad degree and I am taking a year out before taking a MSc. Currently I have offers on courses at 4 different universities. I have now managed to narrow this choice down to 2 universities. However one of the institutions is where I did my undergrad degree. I am unsure whether it is better to move to a new university and have a fresh start, or whether I should just stay at my current university, which to be honest will be much easier as I will get a reduction in course fees and I know the area etc.

Can anyone offer me any advice on this?

Thanks
