I have narrowed it down it down to these two topics:
An evaluation of the use of short term and long term Islamic financial instruments and their impact on the financial statements of an organisation.
Results of government financial policies on individuals; a comparison between country X and New Zealand.
because of ease of information availability.
I need to submit my statement of intent before 1st July.
Hi everyone. I am considering applying for phd in New Zealand for which I require to write a statement of intent for the application.
Allow me to introduce myself. I am an ACCA qualified, with BSc Hons. The research topic in my BSc was "An analysis and evaluation of the business and financial performance of an organisation over a three year period." I have been working in payable and receivable department of a large MNC. Previously, I had worked in a small size audit firm.
The topics I could find are:
An evaluation of how the introduction of a new technology can assist an organisation in achieving its business objectives.
A critical evaluation of the financial and operational risk management within an organisation. But for this, I will have to have access to internal information of an organization.
An evaluation of the use of short term and long term Islamic financial instruments and their impact on the financial statements of an organisation. But for this, I am not sure how much valuable the islamic finance topic will be as it is not really popular idea in most western countries.
Results of government financial policies on individuals; a comparison between country X and New Zealand.
Please suggest any suitable topics.
Regards
