Hi,
I am writing the literature review for my dissertation. However, I am confused about how I should reference the text (using IEEE). For example the following two sentences are obtained from the same source:
Recently, cementless TKA have made a comeback with newer designs, improved materials and manufacturing techniques [x1]. In theory the cam/post configuration of these
implants could apply unpredictable stresses to the tibial tray-bone cementless interface [x2].
Should I include reference at point [x1] and point [x2]? Or I should include the reference only at [x2]?
(I just copy and pasted the text from the source so I know it is plagiarized, but I used this text just for an example]
Thanks for your help.
