Hello, I need some advises regarding M.Sc. applications. I'm applying for M.Sc. Chemical Engineering in Europe. Here is some info about me.
I have a B.Sc. in Biochemistry from Denison University, Ohio. This is a very good university but I have an awful GPA - 2.81/4. I think I will get a good recommendation from my biochemistry professor. I'm actually good at biochem, but I don't know how to prove it now, and if I should address my GPA in statement/motivation letter.
I have 1.5 years of working experience at an RnD laboratory of the highest esteemed pharmaceutical company in my country (Georgia, not USA but the country). I will have amazing recommendations from here because I'm doing really good and just won an award too - "Discovery of the Year", not sure if it should go on my CV. I'm also managing projects for the company.
I also have a few small internships, and a lot of skills - music, digital design, project management, statistics, writing, fluent in 3 languages, etc. Not sure if this matters much though.
So, GPA is really bringing me down and I know I don't have a shot at Cambridge, but please recommend what do you think are the best unis I can get in with this. Also, what do you think I should address in my personal statement? Which tests, if they're worth it, do you think I should take (GMAT, GRE, etc.) to prove myself?
any advice appreciated. Thank you.
