Hi everybody,
I am curerntly doing my PhD at Middlesex University. I am an International student. I have got about £60,000 funding from Middlesex university and Queen mary university of London on a matched funding sceme for 3yrs, but unfortunately I need to pay the the international fees of about 10,000/yr. so wt ever I get in the form of stipend I am paying it back. I have enqired about ORSAS award from my uni but at the moment they haven't got any. So could any one plzz suggest me a better way getting a small amount of funding from any organisation or charity to pay my fee. I have published two papers as well. I have searched for many charities and funding bodies in finda PhD and postgraduatestudentship.co.uk, but thwy are too specific. It would be grewat if any one gives me a good solution for this friends. Cheers.
If you wish to persue u r PhD in the UK u need to pay the international student fee of min £8500/yr . If you are keen to do u r PhD, u better opt either German or Austrian Universities where they give stipend of min 1400 Euros and resident permit. for more info visit this site if u know this just ignore it. cheers
