Hello all,
I'm Currently MSc student doing my dissertation on supply chain finance. the role of Lloyd bank UK in specific.
Bello are my objectives and research quastion;
The aim of the study is to examine the role of Lloyds Bank, UK in the SCF market. Other specific objectives are:
1. To examine the extent to which Lloyds Bank is involved in the provision of SCF services.
2. To assess the strategies put in place by Lloyds Bank to tackle the generic challenges facing the SCF market.
3. To evaluate the value accruing to Lloyds Bank in the offering of SCF service.
3. Research Questions and Hypotheses
The following are the research questions to be tested in this study:
1. Is Lloyds bank actively involved in the supply chain finance market?
2. If the answer to (1) above is ‘no’, what are the possible reasons for Lloyds Bank inactiveness?
3. If the answer to (1) above is yes, what are the measures put in place by Lloyds banks to overcome the generic problems facing the SCF market?
4. Is Lloyds Bank benefiting in any way for being an active participant of the SCF market?
In order to answer the questions above, the following research hypotheses would be tested:
1. HO1: The degree of Lloyds Bank’s participation in the SCF market is lower than that of its competitors in the banking subsector
2. HO2: Lloyds Bank is not doing enough to contain the generic problems facing the SCF market
3. HO3: Lloyds Bank is not making its desired benefits of being a participant of the SCF market
However, I've design the reaserch based on secondary data but i was ask to do Primary source of data.
Please what are your take on this advice.
