what was it about and how did you get on with it

how many of you came up with your own research proposal as i notice alot of people apply for already prepared topics and such like

is it standard procedure for an interview to occur before acceptance or has anyone just been accepted without some sort of communication with supervisors or the department etc

also how long did you wait before recieving your answer after applying

i wish i had your problems

no i have not had an interview i have had some brief contact with potential supervisors but im a little in the dark and finding the whole not knowing if i have a chance or not hard to deal with

i have applied to a handful in an attempt to cover my bases
im betting there are no charities for men in education

well i have applied to a few as i was worried about putting all eggs in the one basket etc, so what kind of charities are you applying too as is this different from normal methods of funding people go for

what is your field of study?
and do you think your prof has gave you almost of a nudge nudge your accepted

lol so what are you going to do about fees as its alot of money im kinda in the same boat as you

so have you had much interaction with a university and how many did u apply too

so who is nervously waiting for an answer for a PhD
i try not to think about it but its always on my mind how do you cope as its a big decision to await

hi there i was wondering how long you guys spend in uni as in classes or lectures if yous go to any and did u have to take any research type modules, im sure some of you take some as extrea but out of curiousity whats the min you have to attend
