Hi all,
Please can you help me find this article:
Appleton, K.M. (2013). Increases in fruit intakes in older low consumers of fruit following two community-based repeated exposure interventions. British Journal of Nutrition, 109, 5, 795-801.
Any help with this will be greatly appreciated!
Thanks all!
Hi Everybody!!
Just a small request for an article please:

Hi everyone out there,
I'm carrying out a study at the moment and would really appreciate it if anyone would take part. It's looking at ways to increase fruit and vegetable consumption for those aged 16-25 via e-health practices. All the information is on the first page of the link. As a thank you for taking part you may be in with the chance to win one of two £15 voucher of your choice.

Hey guys,
If anyone has the following article I would be very very appreciative
Birch, L.L. (1999). Development of food preferences. Annual Review of Nutrition, 50, 249-255.
My library doesn't have access to this particular journal but it's important to my research.
Cheers guys!!
Thanks for that. I was offered a place with City University but turned it down two weeks ago which I am now regretting to be honest. Can't believe I'm in this situation. I may call City University today and see whether they will take me back. Any advice on them? I suppose I can take up a placement independently.
Hi all,
I'm just about to start the Masters in the Psychology Department at London Metropolitan and was excited about it until recently. I was unaware of the bad reputation the college has and stumbled across reviews about it including the finanical worries it seems to be in. I contacted a lecturer I knew who used to teach there who informed me that he would advise against going there. The thing is I think the course itself will be really good but the university may overshadow it. It has a placement as part of the course as well as other training skills which I'm really looking for - I have the academics but not the practical skills. So I'm looking for some honest opinions about my situation and what to do. Thanks all.
Hi all,
I have recently been accepted to two Masters in Health Psychology courses - one in City University London and the other in Metropolitan University London. The problem is I'm not sure which is the better course or university. The City University has a Doctorate in Health Psychology (need to apply for it after completing Masters but presume would be in a better position of getting in if have completed the Masters there), has the opportunity to demonstrate in tutorials and SPSS labs and is cheaper by about £500 whereas the Metropolitan University has a placement attached with the course and the staff have similar research interests to my own. The Metropolitan University is developing a Doctorate in Health Psychology at the moment which they hope to have ready by September but it is not yet accredited by the BPS. They have high hopes it will be accredited and I believe it also well be but it is a factor I am taking into consideration.
If anyone has any idea which course or university is the better one the information will be greatly appreciated. Any other advice on this situation is more than welcome.
Thank you.
Hey guys!! So I have a couple of questions about doing a PHD which I'm sure have all been answered before but here they are again:
(1) I have completed my undergraduate degree and have taken the year out where I have been carrying out research for a university. I really enjoy doing it and am now contemplating doing a PHD but I have no specific proposals in mind even though I am interested in certain areas of my field. So I'm wondering how common is it for students to email lecturers and ask whether they have any available research proposals that need to be completed? And how does a person even go about contacting a lecturer and asking them this?
(2) I'm from Ireland but am interested in doing PHD in the UK. How common is it for Irish students to carry out PHD research in the UK? I suppose this question relates to funding as only UK students get full funding, so does anyone know how EU students go about getting their funding?
Thanks for your help guys, hope to hear from ye soon!!
