omg so good to hear, I will call them asap as I was so so so worried
Hi everyone,
Apologies if this has been asked but ive done research and can't work out the best course of action to take.
Basically, I graduated from undergrad in July 2017 and have spent a year working as a paralegal. I never applied to postgrad as I was expecting lower grades due to an issue of self doubt but really nicely surprised myself. Yay.
Now, due to this I took a gap year as I left it too late to apply for funding for masters, so, now that I have secured funding for a masters (LLM or MRes in a law subject) im wondering now if I go do that, when I come to apply for a phd will I limit myself to internal funding only? Will I struggle to get internal funding at that? Will research councils touch me for just three years of a phd?
I ask because I feel like if I do a masters now that im going to struggle to get phd funding which is really messing me up as I don’t want to wait another year to return to education but don’t want to study for one course if it isn’t going to help at all.
Any insight is welcomed
