I want to study Applied Linguistics but can't decide where. It is the kind of course that is available at just about any university so how do I make up my mind? I got my degree from Newcastle, which is a good uni, and I spent a semester abroad in Adelaide, Australia which is a fantastic place to live, so I am a bit torn between these two. Is it worth sacrificing an MA from a quite prestigious UK university to study in a nicer place, but at a less well-known uni? Or should I choose somewhere completely different altogether? Any recommendations?
