Glad things are improving. People do underestimate the ammount of attension and commitment involved in bringing up a puppy. I think it is a real lifestyle choice and although I don't have kids, I sense that it is almost as big a deal as having a baby.

I only asked because I know some breeds require a lot more input and training than others. If you put the work in when he/she is a pup - you'll be OK.

Brown toast with avocado and emmental or edam cheese slices is my lastest thing.

you need some inspiration. Are you teaching at all? I taught for the 1st 2 years of my project and found the students and seminars really good for firing me up. What about attending an event or conference? Again going and hearing about something interesting or exciting in your area might put you in a better mind set?

I haven't had mine yet, but it all sounds perfectly normal.

Whay was it like? How long did it last?

I am a big fan of Austen and S&S is my fave of her books. I also love the Emma Thompson film version. If Sixkitten is reading I know we have discussed Alan Rickman as Brandon before *sigh*.

Anyway I am soooooooooooo disappointed with the BBC. Especially Willoughby. I mean I know he is a rogue but he is also supposed to be a total sexpot and the actor they have cast is, well rather lacking in the smouldering department.

I have always thought the economist Richard Florida was quite nice & I saw a picture of Bourdieu the other day when he was younger and he was quite sexy in a Serge Gainsborough sort of way.
