I have looked on here and found some very useful thoughts on constructionism/constructionist/constructivism but am getting confused myself with all the different terminologies. As I am doing a literature review for my dissertation I feel I am coming from a relativist angle as I am not analysing data (positivism) as such but critically reviewing articles on a subject area of choice.

Before I go headlong down the wrong path can you help me sort out in my head what the difference is in doing a literature review to doing a phenomenological piece of research. I am returning to study at a mature age and am finding this all a bit confusing!!
