But I wont be going there on a student visa-you dont get one for part-time study. So the info there is really not relevant for me, right? Or did I get something seroiusly wrong?

Hey I'm from India and pursuing my Actuarial Science from here. With a good number of papers under my belt, I'm now looking to pick up some work experience, but I don't want to drop my papers. I am looking at a UK work permit that will allow me to gain some work ex, and a part-time course at some UK university in actuarial science. TWeS is out of question since the course wil require 2yrs.

My question is-Is part-time study on a work permit possible? Are there any complications? I'd like as much info on this as possible. Any info on Australia in a similar scenario is also welcome. Thanks.
