Oh goodness.... I'm three months into a part time PhD and haven't got a specific question/thing yet. I'm finding it really frustrating, cos I feel like I should know what I'm doing, and I feel like my supervisors think I should know what I'm doing.... and I don't. Is this usual?
Hi
Have you read any/many books on historiography? (historical framworks). I'm doing a design history phd, and have not previously done history degrees, so I found reading these quite useful. There's one called 'The houses of History' which describe different historical framworks - you can see which way you analyse/look at things, and then see which framework you're closest to.
Just a suggestion....
